Firefox Private Browsing

Have you ever been tired deleting browser history, or a search history, or cookies after you use a public desktop pc? Are you afraid that Firefox might save some of your information on a public computer? Are you afraid that someone might hack your Facebook account because webforms are kept? The Firefox 3.5 has a solution to this and this feature is called Private Browsing.

In a Private Browsing session, Firefox won’t keep any browser history, search history, download history, web form history, cookies, or temporary internet files.  However, files you download and bookmarks you make will be kept.

To turn on Private Browsing mode, go to Tools (in the menu bar) and then select Start Private Browsing.  You will then get a popup menu asking you if you would really like to start Private Browsing mode.  Hit the “Start Private Browsing” button to continue.
