370 Unwelcomed Passwords On Twitter

twitter-pw-banTwitter bans its members from using the account when they sign up for new accounts. Most of these new accounts are obviously using the passwords like “password”, “twitter”, or “123456”.

Why are these accounts not welcome? This is not a security issue but in fact it’s very helpful for us, users of the web, to know that these passwords are the most common passwords used. Take a closer look at the source code and begin a search for ‘twttr.BANNED_PASSWORDS’ and chada!!! Total of 370 passwords. Check if your favorite password is in the list.
